What GRC says: 2010-11: The first half’s breakout player, Ehrhardt slid back a bit in the second half, but still turned in an impressive performance. He found himself slotted on the wing as much as on the blueline during the final 40 games, but acquitted himself well as a swingman. He has an impressive package of skills: shot, skating, physical play, and sees the ice well. His next goal is to carve out a regular spot in the lineup.
2009-10: The 1st year defenseman made some strides in his game during the second half in very limited playing time. Defensively he settled down and started to make the simple play to get the puck up ice. He looked like he was starting to get comfortable using his size and playing physical, and his offensive game should ramp up next season with some seasoning. Summer 2009: Ehrhardt has been on the Wings radar since last year's prospects camp, and has continued to improve his game to earn a contract. The gifted skater plays a smart two-way game, and should benefit from a stronger team around him if he can earn a spot in the AHL. |
