What GRC says: 2009-10: A fan favorite, Vigilante brought the same game every shift regardless of the score or the opponent. The speedy center used his superior on-ice vision to be a threat in all three zones. John was a versatile player, playing all three forward positions, on all four lines, and killing penalties during the season and not looking out of place in any role. He showed great chemistry late on a line with captain Tardif, setting him up on a late season goal-scoring streak.
Fall 2009: Vigilante was brought into camp for the Griffins to evaluate and was signed shortly thereafter. The Michigan native brings a lot of speed and grit to the lineup and is a good forechecker. If he can pick up where he left off at the end of last season he could bring some solid offense, but that has been the exception not the rule. |
