Plus: Blazing speed... good offensive instincts... Capable penalty killer... |
Minus: Lack of size... Physically weak, needs to add more muscle... Intensity needs to be more consistent... |
Organizational Comments:"He's a guy we would like more out of, he has tremendous speed, I would like to see him compete harder on the puck, more of a Doug Gilmour type, finish his hits, wins battles for the puck, you know at this point in the season, you've got to bring other assets to the table, and beyond just his speed. I think Eric knows that, and he's working on it, and it's been a year where maybe when he has, he hasn't been able to get the ice time..." Griffins Head Coach Greg Ireland |
What GRC says: 2005-06: Eric was injured early and lost his place on the top three lines. Inconsistency and a lack of ice time led to the season being a write-off for the speedy young forward. Look for a rebound in 2006-07. 2004-05: First full AHL season saw Himelfarb flirt with the 20 goal mark, providing timely offense while leading the forecheck. 2003-04: Had a big impact after signing an ATO at the conclusion of his junior career, moving right in to a spot on the #1 Line and dazzling with his speed and vision. |
Role: Playmaking Forward |
Projection: 3rd or 4th Line NHL Energy Player |
