The Grand Rapids Griffins finalized their opening roster today, releasing forwards Ryan Barnes, Lucas Lawson, and Jeff Campbell from the training camp. The team also bolstered it's blueline by signing camp tryout Tom Galvin to a Professional Tryout contract. Galvin's signing was necessitated by the news that Jonathan Ericsson would not be available for the beginning of the season due to a back injury suffered in Detroit (NHL).
