Grand Rapids Griffins 2013 Training Camp
Day One...

The defending Calder Cup Champion Grand Rapids Griffins kicked off their 2013 training camp this morning at Griff's Ice House. The forwards started out on the rink at the rear of the facility before joining the defense and netminders of the front sheet. Twenty-four players were on the ice, made up of 2 goalies, 8 blueliner's and 14 forwards, including a couple that had not been officially assigned yet.
Wings Assistant GM Ryan Martin was on hand watching the proceedings with interest. Coach Blashill ran the troops through a fast paced set of drills, aided by Jiri Fischer, Chris Chelios, Jim Paek and Spiros Anastas among others.
