Griffins Ink Leadership Trifecta
Veteran's Jeff Hoggan, Brennan Evans and Triston Grant remain in the fold...

The Griffins took big steps today to lock up the key leadership team that helped drive the team to it's first ever Calder Cup Championship last month. Captain Jeff Hoggan signed a 2-year contract that will see him remain in Grand Rapids through the end of the 2015 season, while rugged blueliner Brennan Evans and feisty winger Triston Grant will return on one year pacts. Defenseman Nathan Paetsch, the fourth member of the group has yet to sign, but was reported to be in contract discussions with the organization. Veteran winger Frankie Pare, an unrestricted free agent, will not be back next season as he has signed with TPS Turku of the SM-Liiga in Finland.
